The importance of fonts

Last year, the moderator of our coursework, suggested that students should do more work on fonts and spend more time developing their brand identity.  To help you with this, I've found the following resources online.  Have a look at each of these, then compose your own post about what elements you will need to consider when selecting your fonts.  Remember for your masthead, you shouldn't just choose the first font you come across  - you should try different styles and designs and really think about what is being communicated through your choice of lettering.  You must justify your final fonts choices in a blog post.

Finishing off your research and planning

You should now be working extra hard to make sure your research and planning is completed and doesn't eat into your construction time.  This blog has a few helpful posts.  Use the labels at the side to direct you to notes about photography and how to analyse a DPS.


Everyone should be completing tasks for their prep - please make sure you write down what you are going to do outside of lesson time and make sure you do it.  The deadline already seems quite close!
