Just 4 weeks to go until the deadline! Still plenty of time to get everything done but perhaps a little more urgency is needed now. Before half term I will issue the evaluation questions and go over what sorts of things you might include. Remember the main thing is to make sure your designs are top quality and you must leave yourself enough time to tweak each page in line with audience feedback.
Excellent work so far - keep it up, the end is in sight!

Lighting using household objects
Lighting Techniques 2 - Eve Hazelton from Realm Pictures on Vimeo.
I would recommend that everyone has a watch of this video! It gives some excellent ideas on how to light photo shoots just by using items you might have lying around at home. Lighting can make all the difference, so do have a look

Welcome back!
Welcome back to everyone after the Christmas break. I hope that, by now, you are well and truely back in school mode after a few weeks off. You should now be into the planning stages of your coursework and well focused on what you magazine will be like. You should be finishing off treatment sheets and thinking about photoshoots. Remember that your actual pages are worth 60 marks - loads more than your research and planning - so don't get carried away with research, give yourself plenty of time to draft those pages.
I'm looking forward to some top quality pages - you should all be trying to progress and develop your skills from the pre-lim task and achieve something of excellent quality. Ask yourself if you would really see you magazine on the shelf at the newsagents???
